The Uplyft Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Lanham, Maryland, dedicated to advancing inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities. Originally founded as Autism Ally Group, the organization has evolved into a comprehensive ecosystem of programs focused on empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building inclusive communities.
Driven by the belief that every person deserves the chance to live, learn, and thrive with dignity, The Uplyft Group delivers person-centered initiatives that address critical gaps in access to care, community participation, and economic opportunity.
The organization operates through multiple impact pillars, including caregiver and family empowerment, community partnerships, inclusive skill development, food security programs, and community engagement events. These initiatives are designed to remove financial, cultural, and systemic barriers while promoting independence, confidence, and social inclusion.
Through programs such as the Autism Ally initiative, the Uplyft Center, Florence Kitchen, and community-based projects, The Uplyft Group combines compassionate support with structured services—ensuring individuals and families receive both emotional care and practical pathways to growth.
